A 46-year-old assistant teacher in Uttar Pradesh, BLO Sarvesh Singh, died by suicide due to work pressure from election-related duties. He left behind a note citing his inability to cope with the workload and lack of time. His wife blames the lack of training and support, and videos of him crying for his children have gone viral. This is the seventh BLO death in the state since the SIR.
