Navneet Kumar Sehgal, the Chairman of Prasar Bharti, has resigned from his post with more than a year left in his three-year term. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has accepted his resignation with immediate effect. Sehgal, a retired IAS officer, was chosen for the role by a committee headed by his extensive experience in administration and policy reforms.
