Stephen Miran, a close economic adviser to President Trump, has been confirmed to the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors in a close Senate vote. He will serve until January 2026 while maintaining his White House post on unpaid leave, making him the first sitting Fed governor to also be an employee of the president.
