Rajinikanth starrer Kabali has raked in as much as $3.5 million within two days of relase – the sum is inclusive of premieres. The film's distributor is CineGalaxy Inc in North America and its co-founder revealed, "At $3.5 million, 'Kabali' has emerged as the top grossing Tamil film and second highest south Indian grosser after 'Baahubali'. Despite mixed reviews, the film has done exceptionally well across all centres throughout North America." He was talking to IANS.

According to analysts, Kabali box office collections are humming back home in India too. The Rajinikanth powered film has reportedly earned as much as Rs 100 crore in 2 days and may well have a shot at the Rs 150 crore mark in the opening weekend.
