Mercedes Benz India has launched the new MY16 E Class in India at a price of Rs 48.50 lakh. While many of the vehicles from Mercedes stable have seen the light of the day, it is the new <a href="http://www.cardekho.com/carmodels/Mercedes-Benz/Mercedes-Benz_E-Class">Mercedes-Benz E-Class</a> that has come down to India to take the legacy of the brand further. The E-Class has been the highest selling luxury sedan in Mercedes India line-up having sold as many as 30,000 units. The newly launched E-Class has been given some added features and now comes with Telematics with Navi ready function, reverse camera and optionally available Garmin Map Pilot navigation. This new Audio 20 Telematics system also comes with radio, Bluetooth, CD player and internet functionality. The high-resolution colour media screen of 20.3 cm is indeed remarkable and the optional Garmin Map Pilot featuring around 7,068 cities mapped at a street level, plus 80 cities mapped at a resident house level, are some other wow features in the car. The newly installed reverse camera in MY16 E Class offers convenience by directing the driver via necessary guidelines when it comes to parking and manoeuvring. Other than the E200 variant, the other models E250 CDI and E350 CDI will be available at Rs. 50.70 lacs and Rs. 59.90 lacs (prices ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.
