There are also reports that the components for the car will be imported from Suzuki’s Japanese plant, which could increase the price of the vehicle. However, government has promised to give Rs 13,000-1,24,000 incentive to sub 4-meter vehicles under FAME policy that will surely enable Maruti Suzuki to place the Range Extender in a very competitive price range.
