In a bid to get more people back into the campus, Infosys has told its workforce to comply with its mandate of working 10 days in a month from office.

As per the Economic Times report, functional heads at the Bengaluru-headquartered company informed the team members to reduce the number of work-from-home days. In an email, the team members have been informed that this mandate is effective from March 10.

The email further mentioned that the company would introduce system interventions to limit the number of work-from-days every month. Currently, Infosys employees use a mobile app to record their attendance. Post March 10, the app will not accept the WFH requests beyond the assigned number of days, making it mandatory for the employees to punch in 10 days a month from the office.

A source on the basis of anonymity told ET, In case an employee fails to work for 10 days from office, then the number of days will be deducted from their leave. This mandate is applicable to employees at job level 5, which includes software engineers, system engineers, senior engineers and consultants.

Infosys through their e-mail communicated that these new measures would ensure compliance with the new hybrid work requirements and also provide flexibility for the employees.

It must be noted here that as per the business requirements, work from office for at least 10 days a month is mandatory. One of the senior executives from Infosys believes that this hybrid model would ensure better collaboration among team members.
