After OnePlus and Oppo, Vivo is gearing up to shake up India’s premium smartphone market with the X300 series, comprising the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. The lineup is set to land in India on December 2, 2025. Unlike the other flagships launched so far, the Vivo X300 series is relying on the flagship chipset issued by MediaTek, which is the Dimensity 9500 chipset. Additionally, the smartphone will debut Vivo’s OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, thus aiming to up Vivo’s game against rivals like the OnePlus 15, Oppo Find X9, and even Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series.
Vivo X300 series launch date, availability
Vivo has confirmed the launch date of the X300 series to be on December 2, with the launch event likely to be streamed live on Vivo’s YouTube and social channels. Availability of these phones should follow soon after, starting with online sales on platforms like Flipkart and Vivo’s e-store, followed by offline retail.
Vivo is bringing its Telephoto Extender Kit, a Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter accessory for pro-level zoom, to India. This module will integrate seamlessly via NFC and a dedicated camera mode.
Leaked pricing in India
In China, the prices start at Rs 55,000 for the X300 and Rs 66,000 for the X300 Pro. Recent leaks from tipster Abhishek Yadav on X give us a hint at the prices of these devices:

The Telephoto Extender Kit is expected to be priced at Rs 20,999, making it an exciting add-on for creators.

Vivo X300 series features and specifications
The X300 sports a compact 6.31-inch form factor in colours like Halo Pink, Iris Purple, Mist Blue, Phantom Black, and an India-exclusive Summit Red. The X300 Pro comes with a larger 6.78-inch body in Dune Brown and Phantom Black. Both feature flat displays, IP68/IP69 dust-water resistance, and aluminum frames with curved edges for comfort.
Both models boast stunning 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panels from BOE, with 120Hz adaptive refresh rates for buttery-smooth scrolling and gaming. The X300’s 6.31-inch screen hits 4,500 nits peak brightness with HDR10+ support, while the Pro’s 6.78-inch variant adds LTPO tech for better power efficiency.
Under the hood, the 3nm Dimensity 9500 SoC should take care of all the performance needs, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The new OriginOS 6 introduces AI tools like real-time photo editing and gesture controls, ditching the older FuntouchOS for a cleaner interface
Vivo’s X-series has long been a camera powerhouse, and the X300 lineup amps it up with Zeiss co-engineering and the V3+ imaging chip. All lenses feature advanced coatings for reduced flare and enhanced dynamic range.
The Vivo X300 gets a triple rear setup that includes a 200MP Samsung HPB (1/1.4-inch) main sensor for stunning detail, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide (119-degree FOV), and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and in-sensor macro. Up front, a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie cam supports 4K video.
The Vivo X300 Pro gets a 50MP Sony LYT-828 (1/1.3-inch) main for superior low-light and HDR (over 100dB), paired with a 50MP JN1 ultra-wide and a massive 200MP Samsung HPB periscope (3.7x optical, up to 100x digital) for tele-macro shots. The same 50MP front camera rounds it out, with Zeiss T* coating for cinematic bokeh.
As far as the battery is concerned, the X300 packs a 6,040mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The X300 Pro steps up to 6,510mAh, promising over 1.5 days of mixed use. Both support reverse wireless charging.
