Alongside the Galaxy Watch 8 series, Samsung has updated its premium wearable lineup in India with the introduction of a new Titanium Blue colour variant on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The new model is available for Rs 59,999 and joins the existing Titanium Silver, Titanium Grey, and Titanium White options. No changes to the specifications have been made but Samsung has added new health monitoring features from the Galaxy Watch 8 series.
The 2024 Galaxy Watch Ultra in Titanium Blue maintains the robust features and specifications of its predecessor. It sports a 1.5-inch circular Super AMOLED display housed within a durable 47mm titanium casing. Designed for adventure, the smartwatch boasts IP6X dust resistance, 10ATM water resistance, and MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability, ensuring functionality in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 55 degrees Celsius.
Under the hood, the device is powered by 2GB of RAM and offers a generous 64GB of internal storage. A dedicated Quick Button on the right edge provides instant access to preferred sports modes, while a long press activates an SOS siren, audible up to 180 meters away at 86dB. For precise navigation, the watch supports both L1 and L5 GPS frequencies.
Health and wellness remain a core focus, with the Galaxy Watch Ultra still offering an array of advanced features. These include fall detection, comprehensive sleep monitoring, high stress alerts, and a running coach. The innovative Energy Score, powered by Galaxy AI tools, analyses key indicators to provide users with a daily readiness score.
Additionally, the smartwatch monitors heart rate, the newly introduced vascular load, and blood pressure, and features an ECG sensor along with an Antioxidant Index measurement.
The device is equipped with a 590mAh battery, supporting wireless fast charging. Samsung claims impressive battery life, with up to 48 hours of usage in Exercise Power Saving Mode and up to 100 hours in complete Power Saving Mode on a single charge.
