OnePlus Open is confirmed to launch in India, the company confirmed via a post on X. Several leaks have been making rounds on the internet, however, now the company has officially showcased what the much-anticipated OnePlus debut foldable looks like.
This update comes after the company confirmed its first-ever foldable smartphone at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 event in San Francisco, California.

OnePlus recently posted a teaser image on X, showcasing the debut foldable “Open” in a partially folded configuration. The OnePlus Open is featured in a sleek black colour variant, with the Alert Slider positioned on the phone’s left edge, while the volume rocker and power button are located on the right edge.
OnePlus India posted on X, “A true OnePlus experience awaits. Opening Soon.” But no release date or additional information so far.

The reports circulating also say that the phone may launch on October 19. However, this is just anticipation and it may come on the tipped date or later.

The phone in the teaser looks similar to some leaks we have seen thus far: in the hands of actress Anushka Sharma, as well as the latest being a Chinese Business Wang Chi holding the handset which may be OnePlus or Oppo’s upcoming foldable, thanks to folks at 91Mobiles, that are basically the same.
It clears some bubbles in the sky regarding its launch which now appears to be imminent after the official teaser. Moreover, Tipster Yogesh Brar suggested that it may launch in India under Rs 1,20,000.
OnePlus Open may feature a 7.82” OLED inner screen and a 6.31-inch OLED outer display, both with 120Hz refresh rates. Under the hood, it is expected to house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. In terms of the camera, it may include 48MP, 48MP, and 64MP sensors, while the front camera may have a 32MP or 20MP sensor. The foldable is likely to have a 4,805mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.
