A new day and a new set of NYT Connections to solve. This new word-related game is taking the world by storm with its fresh set of puzzles every day. The daily word challenge, which challenges players’ ability to group related words, is giving a tough fight to other popular world games such as Wordle.
What is NYT Connections?
NYT Connections is a word-related game dropping daily on The New York Times’ website and mobile app. Each puzzle has a 4×4 grid of 16 words. The players have to find four groups of words that share a common connection.
How to play NYT Connections?
Players get a total of four chances to place the words in groups correctly. Each incorrect guess will take away the number of existing attempts. The difficulty level of the game is colour-coded: yellow (easiest), green (moderate), blue (challenging), and purple (most difficult). To become a pro at this game, look at all 16 words and try spotting obvious links. Words with similar meanings or belonging to the same category may be grouped together. Some words might have multiple meanings or be part of phrases but remember you have only four chances so be fully sure before making the guesses. Avoid making random choices.

How to improve your guesses
Some groups are easy to guess, but at times you may have to be critical. Look for the odd one out and aim to group it first. Do not go with the obvious connection first.
