Telecom service provider Aircel has just launched some lucrative offers for its customers. Aircel is offering its subscribers, the app-based voice and data offer with 1GB of 3G data, which will come at a price of Rs 76. As a counter to Reliance Jio’s aggressive pricing, Aircel, in April, had announced free incoming calls on national roaming on its network across India. Under the new offer, Aircel is also offering its customers an additional 100MB free data, along with a full talktime offer, and it is available on a recharge of Rs 86.
Aircel has said that the offers have been designed keeping the user demands in mind. Aircel chief marketing officer Anupam Vasudev said, “Through app, we know our customers, their plans, usage, and the services they are interested in, and hence have curated these products basis the trends observed.” According to the company, app-based products are convenient for the users and it is easier for them to stay connected.

Vasudev had added, “Through apps, we know our customers, their plans, usage, and the services they are interested in, and hence have curated these products basis the trends observed.”

Reliance Jio’s commercial foray into the telecom sector in September of 2016 had led to a steep competition in voice and data tariff rates among incumbent telecom companies like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular.
Earlier, Aircel had announced a new ‘Goodnights’ offer. The offer by Aircel is basically ‘free internet usage’ for its customers. The offer is available only for Aircel prepaid customers. But there is a catch. The Aircel Goodnights offer will enable users to avail free unlimited internet data from 3 AM to 5 AM. This is valid for all the circles in India.
