iQOO has announced the iQOO Neo 10R, a new smartphone which seems exclusive to India, and ready to take on the OnePlus 13R in the coming days. iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has teased the first look of the product and called it a “game-changer” on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
In a note shared with the media, today, iQOO said, “the iQOO Neo 10R is set to raise the bar even higher, with major upgrades in processor and battery—delivering the ultimate power-packed experience you’ve come to expect,” adding that it “checks all the boxes—unmatched performance, enduring battery life, and a design that turns heads.” The Vivo spin-off hasn’t revealed the hardware specs so far. The launch date remains a mystery, too, though the phone is expected to break cover sometime in February.
The iQOO Neo 10R will follow in the footsteps of the massively popular iQOO Neo 9 Pro from last year, though it isn’t immediately clear if, it’s a direct sequel. This is iQOO’s first “R-rated” Neo smartphone anywhere in the world. A smartphone like that doesn’t exist even in China, not in the exact name anyway. What does exist is the iQOO Neo 10, iQOO Neo 10 Pro, iQOO Neo 9S Pro, and iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus. Whether the iQOO Neo 10R will be based on any of these four smartphones remains to be seen.
The first look shared by iQOO shows the iQOO Neo 10R in a shade of blue and white, dual tone colour scheme that has become hallmark for iQOO’s Neo-branded smartphones. A quick check on iQOO’s China website confirms a similar option exists for the iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus, which could be the blueprint for the India-bound iQOO Neo 10R but it’s all speculation for now and should be taken with a grain of salt. We’ll know soon enough how things turn out as iQOO shares more details.
The iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor under the hood, same as the OnePlus 13R. The iQOO Neo 10 uses the same chip while the iQOO Neo 10 Pro has the Dimensity 9400, The iQOO Neo 9S Pro has the Dimensity 9300 Plus.
