The tenth-generation iPad is selling at its lower price ever since launch in India ahead of Apple’s May 7 “Let Loose” special event. The price drop is reflecting across both Flipkart and Amazon, both of which are currently running their Big Savings Day and Great Summer sales. Apple itself seems to have revised the price of the iPad over the course of time.

To recap, the iPad was launched in 2022 at a starting price of Rs 44,900 for a version with Wi-Fi and 64GB of storage. Apple now lists the same product at a lower price of Rs 39,900. However, the discount is even higher if you visit either Amazon or Flipkart right about now.

Both the e-commerce portals have listed the iPad 10th generation Wi-Fi 64GB at a price of Rs 31,999. In all, that is a discount of Rs 12,901. You can get it for even less when you factor in bank discounts. On Amazon, users can get the iPad at a discount of Rs 2,500 using ICICI Bank credit card or Rs 1,750 using ICICI Bank EMI option. On Flipkart, it is selling with a Rs 1,000 coupon and Rs 2,000 discount using SBI credit card.

The tenth-generation iPad has a 10.9-inch LCD display with a 2360×1640-pixel resolution, the A14 Bionic chip, and USB Type-C charging. The selfie camera has a landscape orientation — which is a first for any iPad— and Touch ID sits over the power button at the top edge.

Apple is widely expected to launch a bunch of new iPads on May 7 including updates to the iPad Air and iPad Pro. Whether or not it will also update the entry-level iPad remains to be seen.
