Tech mogul Elon Musk’s alleged ex and political commentator Ashley St. Clair has claimed to be navigating financial challenges. Clair, who is 26 and a mother of one, has sounded an emergency after what she describes as ‘unplanned career suicide.’ The announcement came on the light of a new podcast launch, which has been created to generate income.

The mother of Elon Musk’s son, Romulus, is currently engaged in a custody battle with the tech billionaire, who is the CEO of America’s trending firms like Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink and Neuralink.

In a recent podcast episode titled ‘Bad Advice, Clair opened up about her financial struggles, attributing them to a series of “questionable life choices.” “Well, after a year of unplanned career suicide, many questionable life choices and a gap in my LinkedIn profile that cannot be legally explained, I’ve decided to start a podcast,” said Clair in the podcast.

“Unlike your Ben Shapiros or your Megyn Kellys, I’m not starting this because I think my big brain thoughts and my podcast mic are the greatest gift to humanity. I actually think I have the worst ideas, so consider everything out of my mouth a cautionary tale,” she added.

Going ahead, Clair said, “Also, I’m getting evicted, and Polymarket offered me $10,000 to do an ad read. So with that, the roof over my head has been brought to you by Polymarket,” she added.

Clair’s situation came to light after she rejected a settlement offer from Musk, who she claims initially offered her a lump sum of $15 million and $100,000 in monthly child support to keep their son’s birth private. Clair declined the offer, stating it did not provide adequate protection for their child, and initiated legal proceedings.

Following her legal action, Clair’s lawyers allege that Musk reduced the monthly payments to $40,000 and subsequently to $20,000. On the other hand, Musk has publicly claimed to have given her $2.5 million and to be providing $500,000 annually. A paternity test has confirmed with 99.9999% certainty that Musk is the father of the child.

St. Clair first met Musk in person when her boss, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, interviewed him. She went public with her story on Valentine’s Day 2025 and has been in the contriversy ever since.
