Google has officially announced the launch date for its much-awaited Pixel 10 series. The confirmation came through a post on the company’s official X handle (@madebyGoogle), where it also took a subtle dig at Apple’s postponed Apple Intelligence release. In a clever promotional twist, the teaser urged users to “step beyond your comfort phone,” hinting at the Pixel’s innovative edge. “If you buy a new phone because of a feature that’s coming soon but it’s been coming soon for a full year, you could change your definition of ‘soon’ or you could just change your phone,” shared @madebyGoogle handle. It further says, “Get outside your comfort phone.”
The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL variants are anticipated to launch on August 20. There’s also growing speculation about the arrival of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, though Google has yet to officially acknowledge or confirm its release.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds 2a and the new Watch 4 will be available somewhere around October:
A report by WinFuture suggests that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds 2a, and the upcoming Watch 4 could hit shelves around October—marking a delay of over a month. This timeline could allow Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup, expected to debut in September, to reach consumers first.
As a result, the initial wave of Pixel 10 series sales may likely include just the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL variants.
Google Pixel 10 design, camera and chipset:
The Pixel 10 could become the first non-Pro variant to sport a triple-lens rear camera system, potentially offering a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto unit—features previously exclusive to the Pro lineup. Additionally, the smartphone is rumored to be powered by Google’s next-gen Tensor G5 chip, reportedly manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, promising improved speed and energy efficiency.
Recently surfaced renders reveal that the Pixel 10 will mirror the Pixel 9’s design, featuring a pill-shaped camera bump rather than the older models’ signature horizontal camera strip. This design choice suggests the new phones will stick to dimensions similar to last year’s lineup, with speculation hinting at the return of the sharp and vibrant 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch Actua screens.
