Alcatel V3 Ultra, V3 Pro, V3 Classic launched: NXTPAPER display with mode slider key and more features

The Alcatel V3 series phones have been launched with NXTPAPER display technology, 5G chipset and more. Here is everything you need to know about these budget phones.

The Alcatel V3 series debuts the NEXTPAPER e-ink style display tech.

Alcatel returns to India with its smartphone lineup and unlike its European lineup, the Indian arm has utilised its multiple partnerships to come up with three feature-rich phones in the entry-level midrange segment. The V3 series is the first launch series from Alcatel catering to the budget end of the smartphone spectrum. The Alcatel V3 Ultra even offers a stylus – something that no other smartphone in the Indian phone market offers at the moment. 

The Alcatel V3 series will be available on Flipkart and compete directly with phones like the Redmi Note 17, Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and Samsung Galaxy F15.

The star of the Alcatel V3 series is the NXTPAPER INK paper mode display that can be switched to a colourful electronic paper display experience for reading and duotone Ink Paper mode for eBook-like reading experience on the Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G and V3 Pro 5G smartphones. Other than the SGS low blue light certification, the screen also has an anti-reflective coating. In Max Ink Mode, the phones promise up to 7 days of reading.

The Alcatel V3 Ultra is the top-end model featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 6.8-inch 1080p FHD+ 120Hz display with NXTPAPER +AG 2.5D glass, eSIM connectivity, stock Android 14 interface, a combo of a 108MP main + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro mode camera unit, a 32MP front camera, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 5010mAh battery with 33W wired charging. 

The Alcatel V3 Pro is the mid-tier variant that trickles down certain aspects of the Ultra variant. Hence, you get a 6.7-inch 720p HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, Android 15 OS out of the box, a combo of a 50MP main and 5MP ultrawide dual camera system, an 8MP front camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 5200mAh battery with 18W wired charging. 

The Alcatel V3 Classic is the most affordable model and hence, the features are adjusted accordingly. The phone offers a 6.7-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD display with no NXTPAPER tech, Android 15 OS out of the box, a 50MP main rear shooter accompanied by a secondary macro camera, an 8MP front camera, a 5200mAh battery with 18W wired charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

Alcatel V3 series prices

The Alcatel V3 Ultra starts at Rs 19,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and goes up to Rs 21,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The phone is available in Hyper Blue, Champagne Gold and Ocean Grey colours.

The Alcatel V3 Pro 5G, available in Matcha Green and Metallic Grey colours, is priced at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB/256GB version.

The Alcatel V3 Classic 5G, which comes in Halo White and Cosmic Grey colours, is priced at Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB/128GB version and goes up to Rs 14,999 for the 6GB/128GB version.
