Vicky Kaushal is on a career high as he is reeling under the massive success of his latest film Chhaava. The movie which released on February 14, 2025, has already minted over Rs 400 crore at the Indian box office. And it has seen a consistent growth ever since its release. The Laxman Utekar directorial chronicles the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj played by Vicky, and Emperor Aurangzeb played by Akshaye Khanna.

As per Sacnilk, Chhava has earned Rs 5.75 crore on its 20th day at the box office. The nett domestic total of the film stands at Rs 477.65 crore, whereas it has earned a worldwide gross collection of close to Rs 650 crore. Chhaava’s nett domestic total is just Rs 47 crore lesser than Gadar 2’s lifetime collection of Rs 525 crore. In fact, Vicky Kaushal’s period drama is expected to overtake Gadar 2 by the coming weekend, which will be a huge milestone for the film.

Another milestone that the film has achieved is its record ticket sales in just 20 days. According to ticketing platform BookMyShow, Chhaava has sold more than 10 million tickets since its release and the number is still growing.

Chhaava is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, which has been having a great run with films like Munjya, Stree 2 which have been huge box office successes.

For the unversed, the Telugu version of Chhaava will release this Friday, which is expected to further boost the ticket sales and box-office collections for the film.
