Transporting Guests in Style
To accommodate the influx of high-profile guests, the Ambanis have made extensive arrangements for transportation. According to reports from the Mint, Indian Express, Hindustan Times, and other sources, the Ambanis, who have a net worth of over Rs 9 lakh crore, have arranged for three Falcon 2000 jets to transport guests to the wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Rajan Mehra, CEO of Air Charter company Club One Air, confirmed to Reuters that the Ambanis have rented three of their Falcon 2000 private jets for this purpose. He also mentioned that over 100 private planes are expected to be used during the wedding festivities. “The guests are coming from all over, and each aircraft will make multiple trips across the country,” he told Reuters.
Previous Transport Arrangements
The Ambanis had made similar arrangements earlier this year when they hosted a three-day pre-wedding extravaganza in Jamnagar, Gujarat. According to The Times of India, they had arranged multiple flights and private jets for guests traveling from different parts of the country to Jamnagar. Additionally, The Hindu reported that the Jamnagar airport had been granted international status for 10 days during the pre-wedding celebrations.
Varanasi’s Special Chaat to be Served
Mukesh and Nita Ambani have gone to great lengths to ensure that their guests enjoy the best culinary delights. According to Mint, they have hired Varanasi’s famous Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar for the wedding. Guests will be treated to delicacies such as palak chaat, chana kachori, aloo tikki chaat, tomato chaat, and kulfi. Nita Ambani, who visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple last month, also stopped by Kaashi Chaat Bhandaar to sample a few snacks. Rakesh Keshari, the owner of the famous chaat shop, confirmed her visit and mentioned that she was very pleased with the food.
Traffic Details
To manage the expected traffic congestion, the Mumbai Traffic Police released a traffic advisory on July 5. The advisory outlines new traffic rules, including diversions and restricted access, that will be in effect from July 12 to July 15 on routes leading to the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) where the wedding will take place.
