Simpolo Group, a leading name in the Indian ceramic industry, announced a substantial expansion that will triple its current capacity, marking a significant step in the sector. This expansion is backed by a robust investment of approximately Rs. 1,000 crore from Motilal Oswal Alternates, paving the way for two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India.

Jitendra Aghara, the Chairman and Managing Director of Simpolo Group, expressed his enthusiasm about this development. “The unveiling of our Rs. 1,000 crore expansion plan marks a pivotal moment in Simpolo Group’s illustrious 30-year-old journey,” said Mr. Aghara. With the establishment of the Malia and Naidupeta plants, the company is set to solidify its presence in the Indian ceramic industry.

The Malia plant, located in Morbi, Gujarat, spans an impressive 86 acres and represents an investment of Rs. 650 crores. Scheduled to commence operations in FY26, this plant is expected to be a cornerstone of innovation and excellence, creating over 400 job opportunities. Its strategic placement and significant production capacity are tailored to meet the increasing demand for premium ceramic products in India.

In contrast, the Naidupeta plant in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, covers 83 acres and involves an investment of over Rs. 350 crores. Set to start in FY25, it aims to boost its production capacity to 13.2 million square meters annually. This plant is not only a testament to Simpolo’s commitment to modernization but also poised to spur socio-economic development in the region by generating around 300 direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Bharat Aghara, the Chief Marketing Officer of Simpolo Group, shared his excitement about the potential of these expansions. “With increased production capacities and a commitment to delivering cutting-edge designs, we are well-positioned to meet the diverse needs of our customers and maintain our competitive edge in the market,” he remarked.
