Lollapalooza India 2024 is gearing up for an even more spectacular second edition, following the tremendous success of its debut in Mumbai. The inaugural event drew thousands to the city for a two-day extravaganza headlined by The Strokes and Imagine Dragons. Promising a lineup “twice as epic” for its return, Lollapalooza India has certainly delivered.
Scheduled for January 27-28, 2024, the upcoming festival boasts an electrifying roster of internationally acclaimed artists. Headlining the event are music legends Sting, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, and OneRepublic. While Sting is no stranger to the Indian music scene, this marks his first collaboration with other global powerhouses. The Jonas Brothers, known for their longstanding connection with India, are set to grace the stage as performers rather than just family members. Making their debut in the country are Halsey and OneRepublic, the latter enjoying a substantial fan base in India.
Joining the stellar lineup are the British alt-rock sensation Keane, K-pop phenomenon The Rose, R&B enigma Eric Nam, and American singer-songwriter Lauv, creating a diverse musical experience that spans across genres.
The festival’s four stages will also feature performances by modern dance music duo Jungle, English rock band Royal Blood, American rapper JPEGMAFIA, Italian EDM artist Meduza, French house DJ Malaa, and the unique blend of psychedelic and pop music from Caribou.
From the Indian contingent, audiences can savor the classical melodies of Anoushka Shankar, the contemporary folk tunes of The Raghu Dixit Project, and the talents of homegrown favorites such as When Chai Met Toast and hip-hop artist Prabh Deep. The lineup further includes The Karan Kanchan Experience, Parvaaz, Dualist Inquiry, Komorebi, Parekh & Singh, Skrat, Kamakshi Khanna, JBABE, Chrms, Dewdrops, Shashwat Bulusu, Jatayu, Monophonik, Sublime Sound, Stalvart John, Long Distances, and Megan Murray, ensuring a rich and varied musical experience at India’s premier music festival.
