Mahindra Tractors has achieved the 40 lakh sales milestone. Ever since it established itself in 1963, with a joint venture with US-based International Harvester, Mahindra, in 2019 became the first Indian tractor brand to sell 3 million tractors globally.
In the last 60 years, Mahindra has offered a range of more than 390 tractor models and also established a strong 1200 dealer network across India.
Mahindra’s farm sector has seen steady growth over the years and in June 2024, Mahindra’s tractor sales recorded 45,888 units, a YoY growth of 5.8 percent over June 2023. During the January to June 2024 period, Mahindra sold 1,16,930 tractors, registering a 5 percent YoY growth over the same period in 2023.
Mahindra Tractors also saw healthy growth in exports, having shipped 1,431 units in June 2024 witnessing 28 percent YoY growth, and during the first six-month period, Mahindra exported 4,537 units, witnessing a 45 percent YoY growth.
