BluSmart to induct 4,000 Citroen EVs in its fleet

BluSmart a leading full-stack vertically integrated e-mobility ride hailing service and EV charging infrastructure network company has signed a MoU with Citroen, the leading French automaker, to integrate 4,000 electric vehicles (EVs) into its fleet.

As part of the initial phase, 125 Citroen e-C3 were flagged off from BluSmart’s EV charging superhub in Bangalore.

The new Citroen e-C3, all-electric compact SUV will become a part of BluSmart’s growing fleet of 7,000 EVs. The Citroen e-C3 has a claimed range of 320km as per ARAI and features state-of-the-art fast charging technology, capable of achieving a full charge in less than an hour. The company says that Citroen’s famed Advanced Comfort Program combines intuitive technology and space to offer an elevated ride experience for all passengers. Its spacious interior, coupled with a generous 315-litre boot, caters seamlessly to travellers’ luggage requirements, particularly suiting airport transfers, a significant segment of BluSmart’s services.
