Wipro has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud. This collaboration will enhance Wipro’s adoption of Google Cloud’s AI technology, focusing on the integration of advanced AI models like Vertex AI and Gemini, the IT company said in an exchange filing.
Wipro is equipping its workforce with generative AI-powered tools to boost developer productivity, speed up cloud migrations, and offer GenAI solutions to clients. As part of this initiative, Wipro will build new industry solutions using Gemini models, develop joint go-to-market programs, and integrate Gemini Code Assist into its internal tools.
Wipro’s FullStride Cloud Studio, a component of the company’s ai360 initiative, is at the forefront of this partnership. The Studio is incorporating Gemini’s advanced reasoning and analysis capabilities into its core business platforms and innovation hubs. These hubs are focused on driving business transformation by developing best practices, tools, and frameworks that combine Wipro’s ai360 ecosystem with Google Cloud’s GenAI offerings.
According to Wipro’s estimates, these efforts could lead to productivity improvements of up to 30% in vital digital transformation projects, such as application migrations and modernization.
Additionally, Wipro is leveraging Gemini for Google Cloud to enhance its platforms for application migration, modernization, and operations in the cloud.
