L’Oréal Professionnel, a brand in hair technology, has announced its foray into the metaverse

According to an official release, L’Oréal Professionnel’s pillar for this year’s metaverse initiative includes – More Hair Looks with Hair Drops for multiple platforms. The brand aims to provide a collection of hair looks, ensuring that users can find the style for their virtual identities. 

Reportedly, the brand has premiered five hair looks in collaboration with a CGI artist, Evan Rochette, on the cross-game avatar platform Ready Player Me. Additionally, these hair drops are believed to be available on Robox and Zepeto. From what it’s understood, the brand has dropped 16 looks on platforms such as Ready Player Me, Roblox and Zepeto.

“I believe the brand’s vision of ‘Professional hair tech that elevates you’ has been the driving force behind this journey into the metaverse. L’Oréal Professionnel aims to stimulate this connection, offering experiences through hair looks that empower users to express themselves in this virtual world,” Mathilde Barthelemy-Vigier, general manager, L’Oréal Professionnel India, said.
