Indeed, a matching and hiring platform, has announced its global flagship event, Indeed FutureWorks. The event is expected to be held in Bengaluru, India, on November 30, 2023.
According to an official release, this event is set to host industry experts, thought leaders, and visionaries aiming to shape the future of work in India. This year’s theme, “The World Can Work Better,” intends to underscore Indeed’s objective to explore ways to create work opportunities. Reportedly, the keynote speaker at the event will be Amitabh Kant, India’s G-20 Sherpa, who is expected to share insights on ‘Digital Transformation, AI, Nation Building and the changing world of work.’
From what it’s understood, David Green, an author and speaker, and Shraddha Jain, a content creator, will share their insights at the event. It’s believed that the event will also have Callam Pickering, APAC senior economist, Indeed, and Conor McCarthy, vice-president of sales for EMEA and APAC. Parmesh Shahani, author of ‘Queeristan: LGBTQ Inclusion in the Indian Workplace,’ is expected to discuss diversity and inclusion with Nishita Lalvani, director of country marketing for India, Singapore, and SEA. Sources suggest that Sashi Kumar Ranganathan, head of sales, Indeed India, Rohan Sylvester, talent strategy advisor, Indeed, will share insights over the future of work in India and beyond. This one-day event is anticipated to dive into the implications of AI and people analytics in recruitment, an analysis of India’s labour market, and the role of technology to make recruiting better.
