bloXroute Labs, producers of censorship-resistant blocks on Ethereum, made a complete u-turn, announcing it will start censoring OFAC-sanctioned blocks across all of its MEV relays in compliance with local laws, stated Cointelegraph.
Sources revealed that bloXroute Labs has produced at least 400,000 Ethereum blocks from its two leading Maximal Extraction Value (MEV) relays. They are also believed to have tweeted its policy change on December 18, 2023.
“Effective immediately, all bloXroute relays will reject block bids if they contain OFAC transactions,” bloXroute Labs explained.
Furthermore, bloXroute Labs also mentioned that it will still keep Ethereum decentralised and permissionless while operating within the bounds of the law, Cointelegraph concluded.
