Vinson is an engineer, entrepreneur, exporter, farmer, and policy advocate with professional and community leadership spanning more than three decades. Based in Fort Myers, Florida, and Washington, D.C., he is the Executive Director of the Indo-American Centre, where he has advanced U.S.–India relations, education
reform, and civic engagement.
In 2020, he was appointed by President Donald J. Trump to the President’s Export Council, where he contributed to strategies promoting U.S. trade and business competitiveness. Earlier, in 2013, the U.S. Small Business Administration named him Small Business Exporter of the Year for his leadership in global markets. A former Republican-endorsed candidate for the Fairfax County School Board, Palathingal has been a consistent voice for merit-based education reform and immigrant community empowerment.
As a leader in the Indian American conservative movement, he has been actively engaged in U.S. foreign policy, economic strategy, and global security discussions.
