Judwaa 2 starring Varun Dhawan has managed to hop on the list of highest grosser for the year 2017. Although with the tremendous earnings of Baahubali: The Conclusion at Rs 41 crore, it is next to impossible for any other Bollywood film to cross that benchmark. But, the sequel of Salman Khan’s blockbuster movie 'Judwaa' has recently joined the league. Kabir Khan’s Tubelight which was said to be the lowest Eid-opening for superstar Salman Khan’s movie in the past few years, still ranked at number two on the list of top five openers in the year 2017. As per the Tweet by the movie critic and biz analyst, Taran Adarsh, in the list of top 5 opening grossers, the third rank has been occupied by Shah Rukh Khan's crime action film – Raees. Judwaa 2 earned a total of Rs 16.10 crore and stood at number four. While Jab Harry Met Sejal – yet another film by Bollywood's king khan, has grabbed the fifth position with Day collection of Rs 15.25 crore. (Bollywood Hungama)
