GSEB SSC result 2017: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar (GSHSEB) has finally announced the results of Class 10th examination today at 8 AM. Students who have appeared for the exams can now check their results at GSEB's official website – gseb.org and indiaresults.com. A total of 8374 students scored above 99 percent in the class 10th examination this year and in total 84,608 students have scored above 90 percent. GSEB SSC result 2017: Around 11,02,625 class 10 students have appeared for the examination including 142 prisoners in the state. Despite such huge number of applicants, the exams were conducted smoothly. Last year, around 5.5 lakh students appeared for the examination and as many as 8,284 students managed to get 99 percentile. The girls managed to surpass boys by scoring over 9 per cent. As per an Indian Express report, in 2016, a total of 67.06 per cent students appeared for the Class 10 examinations which were 5.5 per cent higher than the 2015 SSC exams. (Photo: IE)

GSEB SSC result 2017: Steps to check GSEB SSC result 2017- Step 1: Log onto the official websites of GSEB – gseb.org and examresults.nic.in; Step 2: Click on the link that says 'class 10 results/ SSC results'; Step 3: Enter required details such as name, enrollment number, date of birth etc; Step 4: Download your results and take a print out for future reference; Note: You can also take a screen-shot of your results but remember, only the original certificate will be considered valid for official purposes. GSEB SSC result 2017: Established in the year 1960, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) is the state-level education body that conducts higher secondary (class 10) and senior secondary (class 12) examinations on a yearly basis, along with which it also forms syllabus, provides study material to the students and formulates various policies.
