The week-long exercise called 'Zapad' meaning west in Russian is taking place near the Baltic Sea. At least 70 war planes, 250 tanks, 200 artillery guns and 10 warships have been deployed by both Russia and Belarus for the week-long Zapad 2017 drills, showcasing Russian military might.
