Veteran actor, Manoj Kumar was lovingly known as Bharat Kumar. At 87, he took his last breath on Friday, April 4. Known for his 50+ movie count, Major Kumar was a loved for his roles in patriotic storylines prior to quitting films in 1995. In his exceptional roles in Upkar(1967), Purab aur Pashchim (1970), Shor (1972) Roti Kapda aur Makaan (1974) among others have been a milestone in the Hindi film industry. Leaving behind a loving wife and his two sons, he was a valuable member of Bollywood. Co-stars and contemporaries like Prem Chopra, Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan visited his home to pay him respect.
