Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated India’s longest sea bridge, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, in Mumbai. The bridge is also referred to as Atal Setu and promises to drastically reduce travel time between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, from several hours to just 15-20 minutes. The bridge is 21.8 kilometre-long and was built at an estimated cost of Rs 17,840 crore. It also includes a 16.5-kilometre-long portion over sea.
