Indian Railways reviews concessional travel in AC-1: Travelling AC 1st class on trains on concessional tickets may become a thing of past, with the public transporter starting a review of the facility extended to various people, including senior citizens, patients and sportspersons. It is also considering asking the ministries with which the travellers are associated to bear the cost of such travel. "Currently, we are reviewing the entire list of concessions applicable for various categories of people in order to rationalise the system," said a senior Railway Ministry official involved in the exercise. Extending concessional travel facility to various categories of beneficiaries costs the railways about Rs 1400 crore a year. Sunny Leone calls up Delhi govt, says 'Won't endorse pan masala':In a welcome response to Delhi government's appeal for non-endorsement of pan masala, actor Sunny Leone has informed that she will not sign any future contracts for endorsement of such products. According to Health Department officials, Sunny Leone's husband Daniel Weber contacted the Delhi government to inform them that the actor will "cooperate" in the interest of public health. 5. AirAsia to give 20 pc discount to ICICI Bank card holders: Malaysian budget airline AirAsia on Monday said it will offer 20 per cent discount on base fares to private sector lender ICICI Bank's debit and credit card holders, under an exclusive tie-up, for a limited period. The offer will be valid for travel on AirAsia Berhad, AirAsia India and Thai AirAsia flights, the airline said in a release. The debit and credit card holders of the ICICI Bank can avail an exclusive 20 per cent discount on base fare on tickets booked between the period of January 18 to January 31, 2016. The travel period for this promotional offer stands between February 1 and April 10, 2016, AirAsia said.

Tata Housing partners Amazon India to sell luxury flats online: Realty firm Tata Housing has tied up with online marketplace Amazon India to sell luxury apartments from its six projects across four cities. Tata Housing, the real estate arm of the Tata group, said in a statement that it has launched 'The World's Biggest Home Bonanza' in association with Amazon India. The online sale will be held during January 17-26. Pak unblocks YouTube after over three-years of ban: Pakistan on Monday unblocked YouTube nearly three years after the popular video-sharing website was banned for carrying a blasphemous movie, following assurances by the company to insert country-specific filters to remove objectionable content. Bloody riots were held in several countries including Pakistan when the website carried 'Innocence of Muslims' in 2012, which Muslims blasted as blasphemous and derogatory to their religion. Odd-even scheme set to return; schools, 2nd car among concerns: Delhi government is likely to implement the next phase of odd-even scheme after March as it seeks to first address two major concerns related to commuting by school children and the possibility of people going for another car to circumvent the restrictions. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who on Monday chaired a review meeting on the next phase of odd-even, has asked all departments to look into these two major issues and submit their report in this regard at the earliest. A top source said that government is planning to introduce the second phase of the traffic-rationing scheme after the completion of CBSE Board exams in March-April, adding that two-wheelers will, however, not come under the ambit of the next phase of the car-rationing scheme. Reliance Group eyes e-commerce for commercial finance biz: Betting big on supply chain financing for e-commerce vendors, Reliance Commercial Finance has tied up with e-retail giant Snapdeal and is in talks with various other leading players including Flipkart and Amazon.
