<b>Mahindra TUV300 launched; price starts Rs 6.9 lakh </b></br> Mahindra TUV300 was launched at a starting price of Rs 6.9 lakh, as Mahindra & Mahindra aimed to strengthen its market share in the utility vehicles/compact crossover segment. Mahindra TUV300, which comes only with a diesel engine, is priced up to Rs 9.12 lakh for the top-end variant which showcases the AMT (auto gear shift) technology. Mahindra TUV300 will take on the likes of Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster that are priced between Rs 7.88 lakh and Rs 13.54 lakh. It will also compete with compact crossovers such as Toyota Etios Cross, Hyundai i20 Active and Fiat Avventura, which are priced in a range of Rs 6.23 lakh and Rs 8.89 lakh.

<b>Rahul Gandhi: NDA trying to hand farmers' land to corporates </b></br> Mounting a scathing attack on BJP-led NDA government at the Centre for "neglecting" farmers, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday accused the Narendra Modi regime of "trying to snatch land from poor peasants and hand them over to corporates". "BJP-led NDA seeks to snatch away precious land from poor farmers and dislodge them without seeking their views. The Centre wants to hand over peasants' land to corporates," he said while launching a 'Save Farmer March' at Debahal in this western Odisha district. The Congress Vice President started his padyatra after meeting family members of Sanand Kathar, who had recently committed suicide due to abject poverty. <b>Domestic car sales rise 6% in August </b></br> Domestic passenger car sales rose 6.06 per cent to 1,63,093 units in August from 1,53,781 units in the same month a year ago. However, motorcycle sales declined 9.59 per cent to 8,23,053 units last month from 9,10,312 units a year ago, according to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). Total two-wheeler sales in August was down 2.98 per cent to 13,05,350 units as against 13,45,506 units in the same month last year. (Indian Express graph)

<b>Maruti Suzuki launches WagonR Avance at starting price of Rs 4.30 lakh </b></br> Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday launched a limited edition version of its popular model WagonR, named Avance, with prices starting at Rs 4.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Coming just ahead of the festive season, WagonR Avance will be offered for a period of three months. The model is being introduced in two variants — LXi Petrol and LXi CNG, the company said in a statement. While the LXi petrol variant is priced at Rs 4.30 lakh, LXi CNG comes at Rs 4.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Avance comes with features like double din stereo with Bluetooth, dual tone dashboard with a new beige colour.

<b>Industrybuying raises Rs 60 cr from Kalaari, SAIF & BEENEXT </b></br> Industrybuying.com, a B2B e-commerce company, on Thursday said it has raised a Rs 60 crore funding, led by Kalaari Capital. The Series B funding also saw participation from existing investor SAIF Partners as well as BEENEXT, it said in a statement.</br> The company intends to use the funds to further develop its e-commerce platform, establish nationwide sales force to target businesses throughout India, increase the vendor base and develop a full suite of digital offerings for B2B brands to sell online, it added.
