Prime Minister Narendra Modi has travelled by the Delhi Metro several times. Recently, PM Modi took the Delhi Metro Airport Express Line from Dhaula Kuan to Dwarka to attend an event there. On the way back too, the Prime Minister took the Airport Express Line to avoid inconvenience to commuters on road. PM Modi had to lay the foundation stone of India International Convention and Expo Centre in the national capital. In the metro, commuters were surprised to see him and the PM obliged many commuters as they took selfies with him. Here are some delightful images of passengers taking selfies and interacting with PM Modi: According to Delhi Metro officials, PM Narendra Modi's metro journey was completed in 14 minutes. PM Modi boarded Delhi's Airport Express Line at 3:13 PM from Dhaula Kuan metro station and travelled up to Dwarka Sector-21 metro station, leaving at 3:27 PM. PM Modi also travelled back from Dwarka Sector-21 metro station to Dhaula Kuan metro station in the metro, boarding at 4:39 PM and deboarding at 4:54 PM. The PM has been using the Delhi Metro service to reach distant venues to avoid traffic jams which occur during VVIP movement. A few months ago, Modi along with South Korean President Moon Jae-in took a metro ride together, on way to the inauguration of a Samsung plant in Noida.
