In-car entertainment systems maker Pioneer India Electronics today launched a new set of headphones — HDJ-500 — priced at Rs 8,590.

Designed for home and club use, HDJ-500 aims to dominate the headphone market in both personal and commercial audio space, Panasonic said in a statement.

“We are trying to encourage a new kind of audio connoisseurs, amateur DJ’s as we would like to call them, who like to listen and experiment with music,” Pioneer India Electronics Manager – Marketing and Product Planning Gaurav Kulshrestha said.
