Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has rolled out four new products — CMF Phone 2 Pro, Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a — as it looks to sustain its momentum in the Indian market.

Riding high on its recent performance, London-based technology company Nothing has kept the pedal to the metal. According to Counterpoint Research, it was the fastest-growing smartphone brand in India in Q1 2025, clocking 156% year-on-year growth — a record fifth consecutive quarter at the top.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: Thinner, Brighter, Faster

The CMF Phone 2 Pro arrives with a triple-camera setup, a brighter 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display, and a sleeker design at just 7.8mm thickness. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G processor, it promises 10% faster performance and a 5% graphics improvement over its predecessor.

The device features a 50 MP main sensor, a first-in-segment 50 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom and up to 20x Ultra Zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, a 16 MP camera handles selfies.

Battery life also sees a bump, with a 5000 mAh battery designed to last two full days. The device retains CMF’s signature modularity, introducing Universal Covers, Interchangeable Lenses, and Wallet/Stand accessories.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be available in White, Black, Orange, and Light Green colours. Prices start at Rs 17,999 for the 8+128 GB model and Rs 19,999 for the 8+256 GB model (inclusive of offers). A special introductory offer on May 5 will drop prices further to Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999, respectively.

New CMF Buds Line-up: Something for Every Ear

In audio, CMF is going wide rather than deep, launching three new earbuds:

  • CMF Buds 2: Tuned with Dirac Opteo™, featuring 48dB hybrid ANC and Spatial Audio Effect for balanced sound at Rs 2,699.
  • CMF Buds 2 Plus: Aimed at audiophiles, offering Hi-Res LDAC, hearing compensation, and full EQ customisation at Rs 3,299.
  • CMF Buds 2a: An entry-level offering with 42dB ANC, a 12.4mm bio-fibre driver, and deep bass, priced at Rs 2,199.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will go on sale starting May 5, 2025, via Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other retailers. The new CMF Buds series will be available by the end of Q2 2025. Accessories for the CMF Phone 2 Pro are also expected to launch soon.
