Vivo has officially launched the Y300, the latest addition to its Y-series lineup, in India. The smartphone, priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 23,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, will be available for purchase starting November 26, 2024. It can be bought across various online platforms, including the vivo e-store, Flipkart, and Amazon, with pre-bookings beginning on November 21, 2024.
Suhana Khan, the celebrity, has been announced as the brand ambassador for Vivo’s Y-series smartphones. The collaboration marks a significant step in Vivo’s efforts to strengthen its brand presence in India.
The new smartphone will be available in three colours: Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, and Phantom Purple. The device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth and immersive viewing experience.
In terms of performance, the Y300 is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable via Extended RAM 3.0), and comes equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 80W FlashCharge for fast charging. The device is built for durability with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Y300’s camera setup is a standout feature, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with AI Aura Light for stunning portraits, enhanced by features like AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance. Additionally, the 32MP front camera allows for high-quality selfies, while the phone also supports Dual-View Video for vlogging and content creation. For gaming enthusiasts, the Y300 provides 4D Game Vibration and Dual 10x Super Touch Control.
