Among the many businesses that US President Donald Trump’s Trump Organisation is involved in, the latest one to the firm’s vast collection includes the telecom business. Named Trump Mobile, Donald Trump now wants a piece of the telecom sector and in a bid to gain an early advantage, his firm even came up with a smartphone. Called the Trump Mobile T1 Phone, this handset, with its price tag of $499 seems to be all set on stealing the iPhone 17’s limelight later this year.
The T1 Phone, which largely resembles Tim Cook’s Apple iPhone 16 Pro from the back, relies on the Google Android ecosystem and is aiming to up the ante with some bling. Designed to look like a bar of gold with the logo of Trump T1 and the American flag embossed, this phone seems to be begging for attention. With its price tag of USD 499, it is gunning for midrange smartphones from various brands like Samsung, Motorola, Google and even Apple.
Although the T1 Phone will need a few more months before it hits the shelves, Trump Mobile has released the specifications and the design render of the phone.
