Sennheiser has unveiled its latest audio solution, the Profile Wireless, a new 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system designed for content creators, videographers, and anyone in need of high-quality audio on the go.
The Profile Wireless system features a multifunctional charging bar that not only charges and stores the system’s key components but also doubles as a handheld or desktop mic. The package includes a two-channel mini-receiver with an OLED touch display, two pre-paired clip-on microphones that automatically connect to the receiver, magnetic clips for attaching mics to clothing, and adaptors for mobile phones or camera mounts.
With a wireless range of up to 245 meters, the Profile Wireless claims to offer clear audio over long distances. Each clip-on microphone is equipped with 16GB of onboard memory, capable of recording up to 30 hours of audio at 24-bit / 48kHz resolution. To prevent audio loss, the system features a Backup Recording Mode, which automatically activates internal recording if the wireless signal weakens. Additionally, its Safety Channel Mode records audio at a lower volume to prevent clipping, ensuring optimal sound quality by recording at two different audio levels.
The Profile Wireless system is backed by a 15+ hours of runtime and allows for use of microphones even while recharging. Unlike many other wireless systems, it doesn’t require an app, and its auto-rotating receiver display and diverse mounting options further enhance its ease of use, making it the ideal tool for seamless content creation.
The Profile Wireless will be available in Q1 at a retail price of INR 29,900, making it an excellent investment for creators who demand high-quality audio without sacrificing convenience or flexibility.
