The Poco X6 Pro is generating a lot of buzz — as it should. In a single bold and brilliant move, Poco has taken us back to the Poco F1 days, giving fans and enthusiasts a phone with truly unbelievable specs at unbelievable prices. The Poco X6 Pro comes in a choice of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB at a price of Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively.

Having said that, Poco isn’t the only brand to have caught the market by storm with a product like that. Motorola did something very similar with the Moto Edge 40 last year while iQOO brought the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 at a more accessible price point with the Neo 7 Pro in the same year. The Poco X6 that is joining the Poco X6 Pro is no slouch either while the OnePlus Nord 3 remains the segment go-to for a lot of buyers.

In short, the Poco X6 Pro is great, but here are 5 alternatives that offer unmatched value at similar prices:

  1. Poco X6: The biggest threat to the X6 Pro is Poco’s own X6 which has launched alongside. The Poco X6 comes in a choice of 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB at a price of Rs 21,999, Rs 23,999 and Rs 24,999, respectively. For the price, you get a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, and a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The camera setup is virtually identical to the X6 Pro’s. The only niggle is that it runs the older MIUI 14 with Android 13.
  2. Redmi Note 13 Pro: The Redmi Note 13 Pro is essentially the Poco X6 with a better camera (200MP versus 64MP). Do note that, that camera upgrade will cost you a lot of money, though. The Redmi Note 13 Pro comes in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB trims for Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999, and Rs 29,999, respectively.
  3. OnePlus Nord 3: If you follow Poco‘s social media antics, the Xiaomi spin-off seems to be going after the OnePlus Nord 3 with its new launch. The Nord 3 has received a Rs 4,000 price cut recently and so, it is now selling for as low as Rs 29,999 for a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 16GB/256GB variant of the phone is available for Rs 33,999. For the price you get a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Nord 3 has a triple camera setup which is a combination of 50MP wide (Sony IMX890/OIS), 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. On the front, you get a 16MP camera. Running the show is OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
  4. iQOO Neo 7 Pro: iQOO’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 toting Neo 7 Pro comes in a choice of 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB for Rs 30,999 and Rs 33,999. For the price you get a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. You get a trio of sensors on the back of this phone headlined by a 50MP main camera.
  5. Moto Edge 40: The Moto Edge 40 is probably the biggest contender to the value flagship crown. It has a metal frame and comes in a choice of PMMA and vegan leather. Flip over to the front and you’ll find a 6.55-inch 144Hz pOLED with 1080p resolution, 1200nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support while under the hood, the Edge 40 has MediaTek’s Dimensity 8020 and a 4,400mAh battery with 68W fast charging. Motorola went ahead and put wireless charging, too. This can peak 15W. The 8GB/256GB Moto Edge 40 currently sells for Rs 26,999.
