Human resources (HR) management involves a vast number of repetitive administrative processes in each of its core areas for its employees, be it joining, attendance, payroll, reimbursements, travel and many other things, which many a time translates to enormous fatigue and drudgery for the HR manager. Seeing the potential in this space, Delhi-based PeopleStrong, a HR solutions and technology provider, launched its app based solution—’Alt One’, India’s first HR app store. It offers features like Alt Worklife, Alt Recruit, Alt Messenger, Chatbot- Jinie. The product aims at revolutionising the world of recruitment, employee experience and productivity by providing a simple, connected ecosystem in a per-integrated mobile app.
Alt One was formally launched last month. It will be a paid online service for HR managers available on both Android and iOS platforms. “Routine functions such as leaves and attendance are often considered cumbersome and a sore spot for HR and employees alike. But with the new solution, employees and HR people will no longer find routine tasks a chore,” said Pankaj Bansal, founder and CEO, PeopleStrong. “Our strong focus on employee experience, coupled with benefits and payroll, makes a comprehensive offering, taking a significant leap ahead of traditional HR ERP solutions.” As of now, there is no one-stop application in India which can bring HR and employees communication in real time. Alt One covers end-to-end need of work and life related solutions, along with chatbot capabilities.
The company is looking at two major categories—organisations with 5000 people and those with 1000-5000 employees. “There’s a reason that more than 50% of HR and talent professionals want to replace their current HR software with a cloud-based system by 2018. We see our existing customers as the first-movers. Meanwhile, we will be rolling out various engagements with HR managers for our solutions, which is a cloud-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) human resource management system (HRMS) solution,” he said.
