Just weeks after the release of the OnePlus 15 flagship, OnePlus is now set to reveal its derivative as well as a budget-centric Android-powered laptop in India. The OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 are confirmed to launch in India on December 17, 2025, as more cost-effective alternatives to its premium range of devices. The brand is yet to reveal the prices and the features but based on the global market availability, we have a fair idea of what to expect.

Both devices will join the OnePlus lineup in the coming weeks, where the OnePlus 15R will bridge the gap between the value-centric Nord series and the flagship OnePlus 15. The OnePlus Pad Go 2, on the other hand, will replace the OnePlus Pad Go as the most affordable tablet device from the brand.

Here’s a roundup of everything we know about these devices so far.

OnePlus 15R: What it offers in India

The OnePlus 15R is likely to be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 6, expected to start at around Rs 45,000. This could represent a modest bump from the OnePlus 13R’s Rs 42,999 launch price earlier this year. This smartphone targets gamers and power users seeking flagship-like performance without paying the premium.

At its heart lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is a step down from the OnePlus 15’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This chip is still a beast for multitasking and graphics-intensive tasks. Paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage options (based on global leaks), it should ensure buttery-smooth performance even under heavy loads.

The OnePlus 15R will come with a 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a blazing 165Hz refresh rate. Photography enthusiasts get a combo of the 50MP main with an 8MP ultra-wide setup. Powering the phone will be a massive 7,800mAh battery, juiced up via 120W SuperVOOC wired charging, a combination that is expected to outrun the OnePlus 15’s7,300mAh battery. Durability gets a massive boost too, with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The phone will come with Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 UI out of the box.

OnePlus Pad Go 2: What all we know

Joining the 15R is the OnePlus Pad Go 2, an upgrade of the budget-friendly Pad Go lineup aimed at students, professionals, and casual creators. While exact pricing remains under wraps, it’s rumoured to hover around Rs 20,000-Rs 25,000, making it an accessible entry into OnePlus’s tablet ecosystem. This compact tablet retains the single rear camera setup from its predecessor for basic photos and video calls, but gets an optional OnePlus Stylo stylus for note-taking, sketching, and annotations.
