Apple is reportedly poised to revamp its budget-friendly smartwatch, the Apple Watch SE, with a plastic casing. According to renowned tech journalist Mark Gurman, the forthcoming generation of the device will likely ditch the aluminium chassis in favour of a more cost-effective plastic build.

To make it more kid friendly, Gurman expects the company to introduce better range of colours for Apple Watch SE 2024. The watch series 9 debuted in Midnight, Starlight, Silver, Product Red, and Pink colour options.
