OnePlus is rumoured to be launching a new tablet and tech fans are already gearing up. At first, reports suggested that the new OnePlus tablet would be called the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro or OnePlus Pad 3. But now, according to PhoneArena, it is likely to be named the OnePlus Pad 3R. The tablet was recently spotted on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website. It has listed the OnePlus tablet under model number OPD2408. According to the data, the tablet will include a OnePlus Pencil (stylus).

There is not much information available regarding the tablet launch, but it is anticipated that the new OnePlus Pad 3r could have a similar spec to the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which was recently launched in China and is also believed to be one of the best Android tablets. A recent leak suggests that the next version will come with several upgrades, including a faster chipset, a larger display, and improved battery life. The device is expected to launch in China by June 2025, as per multiple media reports.
If the OnePlus Pad 3R has the same features as the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, it could end up being a strong competitor to the iPad Air and iPad Pro.
There has been no announcement regarding the official release date for the OnePlus Pad 3R yet, but its appearance in the FCC listing gives fans hope that it might launch in the US later this year. Since the tablet is likely made in China, new tariffs from the Trump Administration could delay its launch or make it more expensive. Currently, the OnePlus Pad 2 is priced at $550 in the US.
If the OnePlus Pad 3R is actually a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, it may come with a 13.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400×3392, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 900 nits. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and offer options of 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB RAM along with 256GB or 512GB of fast UFS 4.0 storage. The tablet might feature a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front camera, and a large 12,140 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
