The Moto G 5G (2025), the next iteration of Motorola’s popular budget 5G smartphone series, has been leaked. Recently, new design renders of the upcoming device surfaced online, offering a glimpse of its features and specifications.
According to the leak, the Moto G 5G (2025) will sport a triple-camera system on the back, which is a significant change from its predecessor, the Moto G 5G (2024). The current model features a dual-camera setup, but the new version is rumoured to come with a square-shaped camera module housing three sensors. The camera bump is also expected to have a circular LED flash, which contrasts with the pill-shaped flash of the 2024 model.
The design of the Moto G 5G (2025) will likely retain a similar look to the previous model, with a flat display and slim bezels, though the chin might be slightly thicker. A hole-punch camera is expected to be located at the center of the top edge of the display. On the right edge, users will find the volume rocker and power button, while the bottom will house the 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille.
In terms of size, the Moto G 5G (2025) will reportedly have a 6.6-inch screen, similar to its predecessor, offering a 120Hz HD+ LCD display for smooth visuals. The overall dimensions are said to be 167.2 x 76.4 x 8.17mm, with the thickness increasing to 9.6mm due to the camera bump.
Under the hood, the Moto G 5G (2025) is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, paired with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W TurboPower fast charging. The camera setup will include a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone is also rumored to ship with Android 14, customised with Motorola’s Hello UI skin.
