The JioBharat V3 4G feature phone is available for buying two days after its debut at the 2024 India Mobile Congress. Jio, while announcing and showcasing it, had not revealed the exact date of availability—only that it was coming soon.
On Amazon, the JioBharat V3 4G is—now—listed as available to buy at a price of Rs 1,099. The listing also confirms key specs and features including screen size and operating system. The JioBharat V3 has a 1.8-inch display and runs ThreadX RTOS, not KaiOS for some reason. For those unaware, ThreadX is a rebranded version of Azure RTOS. It is a Microsoft product (while KaiOS is a fork of FirefoxOS). The phone is being made in India by Padget Electronics Pvt Ltd.
The JioBharat V3 4G is backed by a 1,000mAh battery and supports storage expansion of up to 128GB. It is a single-SIM phone locked to Jio SIM. Jio in fact has special JioBharat plans with prices starting at Rs 123.

The JioBharat V3 comes with a whole host of pre-installed Jio apps and services including JioTV, JioCinema, JioPay, and JioChat. It can understand 23 Indian languages. Rounding off the package are a rear-facing camera (unspecified resolution), LED torch and 3.5mm audio jack.

The JioBharat V3 is priced at Rs 1,099. While it is available for Amazon at the time of writing, soon, you can purchase it across JioMart and physical stores pan India.
The JioBharat V4 4G which was announced alongside the JioBharat V3 4G will be available soon as well, though the exact timeline isn’t known.
