iQOO Neo 9 Pro India launch date is set for February 22. iQOO has been teasing the phone’s marquee dual-tone design and choice of underlying chip, which is Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, on social media for a while now. The Neo 9 series was originally launched in China late last year and the India-bound iQOO Neo 9 Pro is all set to give the upcoming OnePlus 12R some serious run for money, especially when you factor in its ball-park pricing.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro India launch details
In China, iQOO sells both the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro, under its iQOO Neo 9 series. But in India, it is only bringing one phone— the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. The choice of chip suggests iQOO is launching the Chinese iQOO Neo 9 as the iQOO Neo 9 Pro in India. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro in China comes with the Dimensity 9300 while the model headed to India has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The move could be good news if you look at the whole value proposition. The Neo 9 is virtually identical to the pro version apart from chip and secondary camera. The real kicker is the pricing. The iQOO Neo 9 comes in 12GB/256GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB trims for CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,000), CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,500), CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs 34,000) and CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs 39,000), respectively.
