iQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo, is expected to launch the successor of iQOO 11 which was launched earlier this year. The next-generation iQOO flagship smartphone is expected to launch in India soon, and it could be the first phone in the country to come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

According to a tweet by popular tipster Mukul Sharma, the iQOO 12 could launch in India by the end of November or early December. The company has not yet confirmed the launch date or specifications of the phone, but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is expected to be one of its key selling points.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship mobile processor, and it is expected to offer significant performance improvements over the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is tipped to cross the 2 million mark on AnTuTu benchmark test.

In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the iQOO 12 is also expected to feature a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, a powerful triple camera system, and 200W fast charging capabilities.

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 smartphone models are expected to incorporate a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H sensor, featuring optical image stabilisation (OIS), along with another 50-megapixel sensor, the Samsung ISOCELL JN1, which will be equipped with an ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, these phones are rumoured to include a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor, the OmniVision OV64B, with 3x optical zoom capability and OIS support.

The iQOO 12 is likely to be priced on a higher side. The iQOO 11 was launched at Rs 59,999.
